Stay all day or come for one event. Bake sale, too -- homemade cookies, cakes made by members.

12  p.m. Hike with Bob Titus around North/South Lake; emphasis on Ice Age geological features in the area; easy hike.  Return to the MTHS Campus about 3 p.m.


2  p.m. Walk along the railroad right of way beginning at the Delaware & Ulster Railroad Station on the MTHS campus.  Enjoy a comfortable, hour long walk with local train buff, Paul LaPierre, sharing stories of the rail ride to the Catskills' resorts.


4  p.m. Virtual history ramble along the Schoharie Creek exploring the wood products industry during the 19th and early 20th centuries.  From the comfort of the U & D Railroad Station on the MTHS campus in Haines Falls, Bob Gildersleeve and Cyndi LaPierre will take you back in time using old maps and photos.


5  p.m. A light supper will be served in the U & D Railroad Station. The menu includes both vegetarian and meat lasagna, pulled pork sandwiches, salads, beverages and dessert. 6  p.m. Hike Auction. The hike with the "Two Bobs" (left) will go to the highest bidder at the auction.
