Big Indian Turn South off Route 28 on to Ulster County Route 47 approximately 8 miles West of Phoenicia.  There is a small grocery store with limited parking along the road.

Historical Society Campus.  Take NY Thruway exit 20 at Saugerties.  Go north on Route 32, bare left on Route 32A to Route 23A in Palenville then west on 23A to Haines Falls. The Campus is on the North side of Route 23A just east of the road to North-South Lake State Campground (County Route 18 ).

Maplecrest Post Office From Tannersville turn North at light.  Take County Route 23C.  After about 2 miles bear left at stone church and continue another 3 miles down hill into East Jewett.  and on past United Methodist Church and turn right onto Maplecrest Road.  In about 1 1/2 miles after you have gone down a steep hill turn right onto Big Hollow Road (County 56).  The Post Office is on the left.

St. Frances deSales Church, Elka Park: From Tannersville, turn south at stop light cross bridge at bottom of hill. Continue across second bridge on Spring Street (County Rt. 16) pass Bloomer Road stay on Rt. 16.  Pass Elka Park Road on right and then Clum Hill Road on left.  The Church is a brown shingled Roman Catholic Church on the left.  The parking area is on the right across the street from the church.
