“Artists in the Mountains – A Tribute to Asher B. Durand”
Entry Procedures
and Guidelines
· Open to all artists.
· Oils – acrylic – watercolor – pastel – pencil – original prints – mixed media.
· All entries must be original artwork; no reproductions, digital, or laser copies will be accepted.
· Up to three (3) pieces of artwork may be submitted.
· Maximum size – 36” x 48” including frame.
· Entries must be properly framed with WIRE, ready to hang. No hooks, clips, or saw-tooth hangers.
· The art committee has the right to reject any artwork that is not appropriate to the exhibit.
· Entry fee – $5.00 for MTHS Members, $15.00 for non-members. Make checks payable to MTHS.
· Commission – 10% to the MTHS.
· Liability: All reasonable care will be given to artwork. MTHS is not legally responsible for loss, theft, or damage of artwork while in storage, on exhibit, or in transit. Participation implies acceptance of stated guidelines.
· Deadline for entry is August 4, 2007.
· Artwork can be delivered on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Red Barn Gallery at the MTHS campus.
· Artwork to be picked up promptly at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2007.
