Fawn's Leap

Legend says that a doe and her fawn running from hunters attempted to leap across the rocks above the falls.  The doe cleared the jump, but the fawn fell to it's death.  The falls is among the most popular in the region because of its closeness to the road through Kaaterskill Clove.
